Doug Smith has provided continuing education programs on accounting topics for state bar organizations, law firms and corporate legal departments since 2001. He holds a CPA license and served as Chief Financial Officer at Sierra Nevada College (now University of Nevada at Lake Tahoe), where he was also adjunct faculty in the department of Ski Business Management. He performed audit and consulting duties for Ernst & Whinney (Ernst & Young). Doug is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Forensic and Valuation Section.
